Dark chocolate has been known to lower blood pressure, which can be a major cause of a heart attack. This is great news for both people that love sweets and dark chocolate lovers alike. For many, milk chocolate may be a bit too sweet, but dark chocolate is a great alternative, and it is lowering the chances of heart disease while you eat it. Just remember, there is still sugar and fat in dark chocolate, and too much would be canceling out any heart attack prevention that may have been going on.
